Submission

We inform that only manuscripts formatted using the official templates will be accepted for submission through the “SUBMISSION” link.

Attention – It is mandatory to attach both files:

  • Full Article Template – With Identification

  • Full Article Template – Without Identification


ARTICLE APPROVAL STAGES

The evaluation process for manuscripts submitted to the Technical and Scientific Journal Cidades Verdes will be carried out in four stages, aiming for a final decision on publication within a maximum of 120 (one hundred and twenty) days.

  • Stage I – Screening (Editor-in-Chief) – Analysis of the submitted work’s alignment with the journal’s editorial scope and its publication potential.

  • Stage II – Preliminary Analysis (Associate Editor) – The manuscript must be original and unpublished. It will be submitted to anti-plagiarism software (Plagius or Turnitin® – Plagiarism Prevention) to detect any suspected plagiarism in documents available on the Internet.

  • Stage III – Peer Review Process (Scientific Committee)Double-blind review: evaluation of the article by two expert reviewers, who will provide comments, indicate necessary corrections, and recommend either its publication or its archiving. Stage III may involve multiple rounds of review, aiming to improve the articles. The editorial board may also add improvement suggestions to the evaluations to align the article with the journal’s scope.

  • Stage IV – Finalization Process (Associate Editor) – After acceptance, authors must send, via email (editoraanap@gmail.com), the article (in its Portuguese version) along with the required declarations.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements

  • The contribution is original and unpublished;

  • The submission file is in editable Word format (DOCX), and does not use DOC or any other format;

  • The manuscript respects the maximum limit of 20 (twenty) pages, including references;

  • In case of submission to a section with blind peer review (e.g., articles), the identification of the authors has been removed from the Word file;

  • Metadata (title, abstract, and keywords) have been correctly filled out.
