Objetivo – analisar o papel das estruturas temporárias e dos eventos urbanos na transformação do espaço urbano contemporâneo, enfatizando suas relações com sustentabilidade, urbanização participativa e processos de transformação urbana.
Metodologia - a pesquisa foi desenvolvida por meio de revisão bibliográfica, na qual foram analisadas publicações acadêmicas relacionadas aos temas arquitetura efêmera, urbanismo temporário, eventos urbanos e sustentabilidade, buscando compreender os impactos urbanos, sociais e ambientais que são associados a essas intervenções.
Originalidade/relevância - o estudo preenche a lacuna existente na literatura referente à integração entre arquitetura efêmera, urbanismo temporário e a produção de eventos urbanos, especialmente no que se refere à articulação dessas práticas com as diretrizes do Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável 11 da Agenda 2030 da ONU.
Resultados - a revisão de literatura evidencia que eventos culturais e festivais podem atuar como instrumentos importantes nas transformações urbanas, estimulando a reorganização de áreas, a valorização da identidade cultural e a experimentação de novos usos do espaço. Observa-se também uma crescente preocupação com os impactos ambientais associados a essas atividades.
Contribuições teóricas/metodológicas - o estudo contribui para a compreensão teórica sobre a relação entre arquitetura efêmera, urbanismo temporário e eventos urbanos, evidenciando a capacidade dessas intervenções na experimentação espacial e planejamento urbano contemporâneo.
Contribuições sociais e ambientais - os resultados revelam que a adoção de práticas sustentáveis e estratégias de planejamento participativo em eventos urbanos pode contribuir para a promoção de cidades mais inclusivas, resilientes e ambientalmente responsáveis, alinhando-se com as diretrizes do ODS 11 da Agenda 2030.
