The Latin American Journal of Built Environment & Sustainability announces that, as of 2026, it will adopt a continuous publication system, aiming to enhance the efficiency of the peer review, editing, and dissemination processes of scientific works.
In addition, the journal will be published mandatorily in two languages: Portuguese and English, reaffirming its commitment to the internationalization of scientific production and to broadening the reach of academic debates in the fields of the built environment, sustainability, and related areas.
The Spanish language may be included optionally, as a third language, at the authors’ discretion, without replacing the mandatory languages. The inclusion of Spanish constitutes an additional opportunity to strengthen academic dialogue within the Latin American context.
