Human beings have used earth in construction for thousands of years, both because of the ease of obtaining material and because of techniques that do not require specialized labor. This work explains the techniques used, the existing standards and the tests necessary for better use of earth in constructions. Through research and analysis on the topic, a study was carried out in the city of Votuporanga, São Paulo, to apply the Adobe technique. And for better understanding, 24 blocks were produced in the laboratory. Therefore, this project was developed in order to disseminate knowledge and teach people a more sustainable and low-cost alternative for housing construction.
