Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission file is in editable Word format (DOCX), and DOES NOT use DOC or other;
- The manuscript to be submitted for evaluation is in "Portuguese" language, but will be published in "Portuguese and English";
- After approval of the manuscript, the translation is the responsibility of the author, who must send it along with the final versions of the manuscript (Portuguese and English) together with a statement from a specialized translator;
- The manuscript respects the maximum limit of 15 (fifteen) pages, including references;
- In case of submission to a section with evaluation by "blind peers" (eg articles), removal of the identification of the authors of the article in Word;

As of 01/01/2024, a submission fee of R$100.00 (One hundred reais) per manuscript submitted will be charged. For manuscripts that are approved for publication purposes, authors must pay an additional fee of R$ 900,00 (nine hundred reais).
Proof of the submission fee must be attached along with the version of the article with identification and without identification.
The amount paid for the submission will not be refunded in case of manuscript rejection or incorrect payment. The editors hope to count on the collaboration of all authors, through compliance with the requirements that guide the magazine's production. - The contribution is original and unpublished;
- The manuscript must have 1 (one) doctoral professor responsible for the research, whether authorship or co-authorship.
- Articles authored or co-authored by undergraduate or postgraduate students will not be accepted for submission. "ALL AUTHORS" must be linked to stricto sensu programs or have a minimum master's degree.

Attention - as of 01/01/2024, the author must attach proof of the "Submission Fee" in the amount of R$ 100.00 (One hundred reais)
ARTICLE APPROVAL STEPS
The evaluation process of the articles submitted to the Electronic Journal "Environmental Forum of Alta Paulista" will be carried out in four stages, with the goal of a final decision on publication within a period of up to 120 (one hundred and twenty days).
- Stage I - Screening (Editor-in-Chief) of the Analysis of the adequacy of the work submitted to the journal's editorial line and its publication potential.
- Stage II - Preliminary analysis (Deputy Editor) - The work must be original and unpublished, and it will be submitted to anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin® - Plagiarism prevention) to identify suspected plagiarism in documents available on the Internet.
- Stage III - Peer Review Process (Scientific Committee) - Double-blind review: analysis of the article by two expert reviewers who will comment, indicate the need for corrections and recommend its publication or archiving. Stage III may involve several rounds of evaluation, gathering efforts to improve the articles. The editorial board may add suggestions for improvement to the evaluations, seeking to adapt the article to the scope of the journal.
- Stage IV - Finalization Process (Deputy Editor) - After acceptance, authors must send the article (in Portuguese and English versions) to the e-mail address (editoraanap@gmail.com), statements and receipt of the publication fee.
