Abstract

The concept of smart cities has become increasingly relevant in the contemporary contexto. Smart Cities improve the quality of life for urban residents through the integration of technology, innovation, and sustainability in various aspects of urban life. In this regard, micromobility, with the adoption of small electric vehicles, emerges as a promising solution to address transportation challenges in densely populated urban areas. This paper will explore the role of micromobility in urban centers, particularly in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, discussing its potential contributions to the development of smart and sustainable cities.
