Thematic Dossier – Publication Exempt from Editing Fee
The Revista Nacional de Gerenciamento de Cidades invites the academic community to submit papers for the thematic issue “Smart Cities in Latin America”, dedicated to the dissemination of scientific research in the field of Architecture and Urbanism and related areas, particularly those connected to urban planning and management.
Participation in this thematic issue is free of charge, with no submission, editing, or publication fees. Authors of accepted papers will be required to provide an English version of their manuscript, which will be reviewed and standardized by the editorial team in order to enhance the international visibility of the research.
Submitted manuscripts will be evaluated according to the journal’s editorial guidelines, based on the following criteria:
- Theoretical and scientific contribution;
- Originality and relevance of the research;
- Methodological consistency;
- Quality of academic writing.
The selection process will be based exclusively on the quality of the submitted manuscripts, prioritizing studies that offer relevant contributions to the field of Architecture and Urbanism, as well as to debates on urban planning and management.
