As part of this commitment, the journal implements a rigorous policy for verifying the originality and novelty of submitted manuscripts.
Preliminary Analysis – Verification of Originality and Novelty
During the preliminary analysis phase, conducted by an associate editor, the manuscript will undergo an evaluation process to ensure its originality and compliance with the ethical guidelines of the publication.
Use of Anti-Plagiarism Software:
All manuscripts will be analyzed using specialized plagiarism detection tools, such as Plagius or Turnitin®. These tools check the content against an extensive database of documents available on the internet, identifying potential similarities with previously published works.
Verification Objectives:
- Ensure that the work is original and unpublished.
- Detect any indications of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or excessive similarity with existing materials.
- Protect the copyright of authors and editors while maintaining the journal’s scientific credibility.
Actions in Case of Suspicion:
- If significant similarities or signs of plagiarism are identified, the associate editor will communicate the findings to the authors, requesting clarifications or revisions to the text.
- Manuscripts confirmed to contain plagiarism will be rejected, and the author may be barred from future submissions depending on the severity of the infraction.
Confidentiality:
The entire verification process will be conducted confidentially, ensuring the privacy of information and respect for the authors.
The journal’s Academic Integrity Policy reflects its commitment to ethics, originality, and scientific quality, fostering a trustworthy environment for the dissemination of relevant and innovative knowledge. By submitting a manuscript, authors agree to strictly adhere to these guidelines.
